Growing up in Oconomowoc, my older brother and I treated every device restriction as a puzzle. Filters, screen-time limits, app blocks, passwords — we found the back door on all of it, and our parents had no idea. Eventually it all came crashing down.
Summer 2022, a friend and I started Ocon Detailing. We barely broke even and eventually shut it down. It taught me more than it earned: how to talk to customers, how to price something, and how much of business is just showing up on the days you don’t want to.
I took the technical knowledge from being the problem and the operating lessons from failing at detailing, and started a company to help parents do what mine couldn’t — actually lock down an Apple device. Phone consultations, then ongoing support, because kids keep finding the next workaround.
[NEEDS JACK: how you came to work with Dennis Yu / Rocket Clicks / Sterling — 3–4 sentences of the real sequence.] Today I direct AI agents instead of doing the work by hand. A fleet of scheduled agents mines podcast archives, drafts press outreach, harvests public data for the Family Law Leaderboard, audits its own output every Friday, and rewrites its own instructions when a run exposes a flaw. My job is to be a director, not a worker.
At the University of Northwestern – St. Paul I’m studying business with an entrepreneurship emphasis, and Great Books and Ideas in the honors college. [NEEDS JACK: a sentence or two on why the classical track matters to you.]
I’m a follower of Jesus Christ. I have five siblings nearby. You’ll usually find me hiking with friends, studying the Bible at the local coffee shop, playing guitar, rebuilding a motorcycle, or in the next local play.
